A MAN taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash on the A31 Hog’s Back near Farnham on February 25 has died.

Police were called at around 4.45pm on Monday last week to the A31 westbound carriageway, just prior to the Shepherd and Flock roundabout, after four vehicles were in collision.

Two people were injured - a man driving a grey Nissan Navara, and a woman driving of a red Alfa Romeo. Both were taken to hospital.

In an updated statement, a police spokesman confirmed the man died on Thursday (February 28) due to his injuries.

The woman is still in hospital and is in a stable condition.

A black Ford Focus and a Mercedes Lorry were also involved but the drivers were uninjured.

South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended the scene.

A police spokesman said: "We are investigating the circumstances of this incident. No arrests have been made at this time.
