POLICE have confirmed a missing 79 year old woman with dementia from Farnham has been found.

The pensioner was believed to have left her home address in Farnham on foot at around 3.30pm on Monday (March 14) – with the police issuing a missing persons appeal shortly before 9.30pm.

And in an update at 9.30am, on Tuesday, the force confirmed: “We are pleased to confirm that the missing 79-year-old woman from Farnham has been found.”

A police spokesman added: “As always, thank you for sharing our appeal.”
