POLICE are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who touched a young girl’s bottom as she walked home from school in Farnham.

The incident occurred on Monday, September 13 at 3.25pm.

The girl was on Weydon Lane by the Pilgrims Close junction when the incident happened, and the man walked off in the direction of Weydon School.

The man is described as white, middle-aged, of medium build and around six feet tall. He has a full head of grey hair and was wearing blue jeans and a brown jacket.

Additional police community support officers will be in the area at the start and end of the school day.

Police are appealing for those in the area on Monday who saw anyone matching the description, or if they have any dashcam, CCTV or smart doorbell footage that could help the investigation to contact via www.surrey.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting PR/45210097232.
