Two men, aged 21 and 22 years old, have been killed in a crash on the A31 Farnham Bypass in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following the two-vehicle collision involving a VW Polo and a Mercedes, between the Coxbridge roundabout and the Weydon Lane junction at around 1am.

The driver of the Mercedes, a 21-year-old man, and the passenger, a 22-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their next of kin have been made aware and the two men’s families are currently being supported by specialist police officers.

The driver of the Polo, a 32-year-old man, has been taken to hospital in critical condition.

The road is currently closed in both directions and will not be re-opened until late morning at the earliest, say the police.
