A woman arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a child found at Kingsley Pond has been released from custody but detained under the Mental Health Act.
The woman, who police are yet to name, remains under police investigation.
Police were called at 5.02pm on Sunday to a report of a two-year-old girl who had gone missing from her home on Forge Road, Kingsley, near Bordon.
She was found unresponsive a short time later in Kingsley Pond and was taken to hospital in a serious condition, but died on Monday afternoon.
