A JOURNEY that began in a prep-school a few hundred yards away finished this morning for many Bedales students.

Twenty-six per cent of students who collected their A-Level results have been purely educated at Bedales having started their journey at Dunhurst a decade ago.

But that journey finished today with 84 per cent securing places at their first-choice university.

The Steep school especially continued its strong reputation in performing arts with students receiving places at the Royal Northern College of Music, Goldsmiths and London South BanK University among many others.

“Congratulations to all our students,” said Will Goldsmith, Head of Bedales.

“They have worked very hard and have shown great resilience in overcoming the many pandemic-related disruptions to their education.

“The independent learning skills and inquisitiveness they have honed in the Bedales Sixth Form will serve them well as they progress to an impressive array of courses. We are so proud of what they have achieved and who they have become.”
