Drivers are being warned of hold ups from today until May 22, because of lane closures as Hampshire County Council contractors cut the grass. The work will take in the verges bordering the A31 from the Spitfire roundabout outside Winchester to the Surrey boundary at Bentley.
Rolling lane closures are expected to be in operation, for safety reasons, along the entire stretch of the A31, from Winchester and including the Alresford bypass, through Ropley and Four Marks, down the Shrave to Chawton, and along the Alton bypass to Froyle and Bentley.
