PEOPLE wishing to walk off the excesses of the festive season or simply to enjoy a walk in the fresh air are invited to take part in the New Year’s Day 10th annual charity walk around Lasham Airfield.

Starting at 11am, the walk will take participants once around the airfield, finishing at the clubhouse where there will be refreshments available, a bar, and a tombola.

Open to all anyone over the age of 10, the entry fee is £5, payable on the day. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed, due to flying activity.

There is free on-site parking, with access via Avenue Road.

All proceeds will go to Canine Partners who train assistance dogs to transform the lives of people with disabilities.
