Three local writers have contributed work to a charity book of poetry and short stories celebrating Ukraine which has already sold more than 60 copies and raised more than £300.
All proceeds from sales of the book are being donated to the Sunflower of Peace Foundation, a non-profit organisation providing medical and humanitarian aid to Ukrainians and helping paramedics and doctors in areas affected by the war with Russia.
Tim Saunders said: “Words are extremely powerful. Positive words even more so. Publishing this book is the best way that I can help Ukraine.”
