Young men are being sought by the Alton Operatic and Dramatic Society (AODS) for its production of Legally Blonde, The Musical.

Honorary secretary Chrissie White said: “We are delighted that following open auditions last week we have cast our next musical, Legally Blonde, The Musical, to be performed at the Assembly Rooms from May 15 to 18.

“We have a fabulous cast with a few uncast roles, and are especially looking for some ‘young’ men to take these on.

“We would gladly welcome anyone who would like to audition - they should message me at secretary>[email protected]”

Chrissie said AODS was ready for the festive season: “The photo shows some of the cast sending a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our supporters and audiences for our forthcoming show. Tickets will be going on sale in the new year and more details can be found at www.aods.org”
