AN Alton man is calling on the Government to give greater consideration to the provision of care and support for people with Alzheimer's and other associated conditions.
Norman Pointing believes that Alzheimer's should be treated as an illness under the NHS. At present sufferers, like his wife, are cared for by social services and it is up to the families to pay for it.
