ANGER is brewing in Alton over a proposal by Hampshire County Council which could see the town's library downgraded and closed on a Wednesday.
Despite being classified as a 'large' and well-used library, with the prospect of increased use as the town continues to grow, Alton library looks set to have its opening hours reduced as part of cost-cutting.
