KATE POWELL, the recently-appointed Anna Chaplain, was delighted to receive a donation of £500 for the Anna Chaplaincy Fund from the Tuesday Traidcraft coffee mornings, which take place every week at Alton Methodist Church.

She received the cheque from Sarah Broadbent, a member of the Parish of the Resurrection and a regular volunteer at the ecumenical coffee morning, now in its 17th year.

The Anna Chaplaincy, which is funded jointly by the Parish of the Resurrection and Alton Methodist Church, offers pastoral and spiritual support to the older members of the Alton
community.
