ALTON Licensed Victuallers Association (LVA) has hit back at criticism of the licensing industry, linked to reports of anti-social behaviour in the town centre.
As flak continues to fly over the 24-hour drinking law, introduced by the 2003 Licensing Act, and with the Government and the Tories battling over plans to curb binge drinking, the LVA believes the finger is pointing in the wrong direction.
