A PENSIONER from Liss died on Monday following a fatal collision involving three vehicles on the B2070 in Sheet.

The 76-year-old woman was the passenger in a Ford KA that came into collision with a supermarket delivery van and a Toyota Proace around 6.40pm near the A272 junction.

The victim died at the scene while her family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

A 54-year-old man from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, and being in charge of vehicle when unfit through drink or drugs.

He has been released under investigation with Hampshire Police launching an appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage.
