ALTON Infant School children welcomed representatives from town churches for dramatic Bible stories.

Every half term, a small group called ‘Open the Book’ visits the school to perform a selection of these popular tales.

“The children absolutely love this assembly and especially enjoy getting involved with the drama and interaction,” said headteacher Jayne Broach.

The infants are pictured watching on as the Bible stories are brought to life in the school hall.
