Tens of thousands of ultra low emission vehicles registered in Hampshire – as campaigners group call for more equal access across UKMike Parker said: “I am considering hiring Chawton Village Hall to give a concert of late 18th and early 19th-century harp music. It will include some pieces from the Jane Austen Collection.
“But my unique selling point is that I have a harp that, if the provenance is to be believed, was owned by Jane’s cousin and sister-in-law, Eliza De Feullide, and I have some pieces from her personal harp book too. The repertoire will all be relevant to the time period that some of Jane’s family lived in Chawton. It would also include works by Sophia Dussek.”
