WITH so many stalls and attractions, Anstey Junior School’s Christmas fair had to spill out of the hall and into a classroom.

As well as the stalls laden with gifts and crafts there was a tombola and raffle, as well as a popular Santa’s Grotto.

One clever idea was for each class to be given its own coloured hamper which pupils were invited to fill it with gifts and games and these were later raffled, helping the fair to raise £1,600 which will go toward school funds.

The fair was organised by the junior school’s parent teacher association and as always they made it a fun occasion.

A spokesman later said how grateful they were for the support they got from parents and friends.
