BIRDWORLD, one of the area's leading tourist attractions, could be set for almost total redevelopment starting in 2010, in a bid to halt falling visitor numbers.

Also included in the planning application currently being considered by East Hampshire District Council is redevelopment of the adjoining Forest Lodge Garden Centre, with a proposal to almost double the size of its buildings to allow for a much larger restaurant.
