The team at Holistic Dental Centre in the Hart, Farnham, has been raising awareness of mouth cancer.

Staff took on a 10km walk with survivors of mouth cancer, and walked twice round Hyde Park wearing T-shirts displaying information about mouth cancer.

As a practice, the team at Holistic Dental Centre raised more than £850 for mouth cancer.

Practice manager Sharon Saunders said: “Mouth cancer is really important to us and we endeavour to inform our patients and others about the importance of dental health checks as well as self-care checks.

“As well as raising awareness on the walk we all bonded together as a team outside of work.

“The weather was beautiful and we met some inspirational people on our walk.

“People need to be informed about what to look for.”
