HAMPSHIE Juniors golfers have agreed a sponsorship deal with Covers Timber & Builders Merchants in Alresford.

The sponsorship will help kit out all junior golfers from the under-14 to under-18 age groups, as well as fund a short break abroad for the club’s winter training.

Michael Sheath, who is depot manager at Covers Alresford, said: “At Covers, we are always keen to support youth sport initiatives so we are delighted to be supporting Hampshire junior golfers this year.”

Robert Mulcahy, manager of Hampshire Juniors, added: “This sponsorship means a great deal to the team. We can’t thank Covers enough for their generosity and support.”
