Thousands of ultra low emission vehicles registered in East Hampshire – as campaigners group call for more equal access across UKSeven-year-old Annie Chesterman, who lives in Albert Road, Alton, and is in Year 3 at The Butts Primary School, resolved to put her acrobatic skills to good use.
Her grandmother Ursula Wagstaff said: “Annie recently had the idea that she wanted to raise some money for Ukraine.
“She decided to attempt to do 300 cartwheels and to get as much sponsorship as possible from family and friends.
“During the recent half-term holiday she went to The Butts with her brother Max and her mother Niki, and with them counting every one she achieved her target.
“After collecting all the sponsorship pledges she had raised £312. This has now been sent to the fund raising money for Ukraine.”
