MEMBERS of Alton Vokes Luncheon Club had a pleasant surprise when Karen Earle (right) visited to present a cheque for £100 donated by the Alton branch of bank TSB.

The High Street bank had nominated the club for a seasonal donation as part of its support for local charities.

Club trustee Tony Midmore and manager Allison Nawrattel accepted the giant cheque as members clapped and cheered to show their appreciation for the seasonal gift.
