St Andrew's Parish Church in Farnham has a busy schedule of services and events during Holy Week and Easter – starting with the visit of a horse on Palm Sunday, April 2.
The congregation will gather in the Rectory Yard on Upper Church Lane at 9.45am and follow the horse in procession around St Andrew's Church before the service starts at 10am. The service will be 'cafe-style', with activities for children.
At 3pm on Palm Sunday, there will be a special LEGO Church Service for all ages, with lots of LEGO and Duplo to build with, plus songs, stories and refreshments.
On Good Friday, April 7 all are welcome to join in the fun at a Easter Family Workshop from 10am to 11.30am, with Easter crafts, songs, stories, hot cross buns and more. This will be followed at 2pm that afternoon by a Service of Meditation, in words and music.
St Andrew's Easter Sunday Services will be at 8am and 10am, with activities for children at the 10am service and an Easter Egg Hunt.
All are welcome.
