A CHARITY dance-a-thon at the weekend has so far raised more than £200 for two causes.

The four-hour dance session on Saturday at Alton Community Centre saw four instructors take to the floor for CLIC Sargent and Dementia-Friendly Alton.

Zumba teacher Mandy Wilson said the dance was “a fun way to generate much-needed money for worthy causes”.

She was joined by fellow Zumba instructor Dayana Sanchez and FitSteps instructors Glenda Edwards and Emma Healy, who all host classes at Results Health and Fitness Club and Alton Sports Centre.

Mrs Wilson also holds sessions at St Lawrence Hall and at Energique Health Club and Spa.

Cash is still coming in and will be split between the charities.
