MUMS and carers joined their children at a “brilliant” zumba session at the Assembly Rooms – one of the school holiday events run by Alton Town Council.

Kate Sadler, who ran the zumba session, said: “It was great to see so many mums and carers joining in with kids. I think they all got a good workout.”

One mum, Errin Kellie, wrote: “It was brilliant. The kids had so much fun and I got a great workout!”

Kate added: “After a warm up, we learned three dances and played dance-based games and the children were completely awesome and danced their zumba socks off!”

As the children left they were given stickers and sweets and Kate thanked Specsavers for providing water bottles and the town council for putting on events for families throughout the summer.
