ALTON'S 2013 Carnival Queen is 13-year-old Amery Hill schoolgirl Chloe Wood.

She will be supported in her duties by Carnival Princess, Ashanti Chiverton, seven, who attends Bentworth CofE Primary School, and Prince, William Brown, nine, a Wootey Junior School pupil.

It was a really tough call for the judges this year's Carnival Queen, Prince and Princess competition, with strong entries in all three classes.
