SAVE Anstey Park Campaigners are to do battle again after Molson Coors confirmed it is to appeal against East Hampshire District Council's decision to refuse an application to build a junior football hub at Anstey Park.

The revised application, for the construction of three pitches, a clubhouse, floodlighting, car parking and access road, on the 'elbow' of Diggers Field, was refused in November on grounds that it would result in "loss of the characteristic openness of Anstey Park" to the detriment of the park and the local gap.
