Police have asked for the public’s help in tracking down a van driver following a hit and run close to the A31 Selborne Road junction near Alton yesterday lunchtime (Thursday, October 30).

A woman in her 60s suffered minor injuries after her vehicle came into collision with a white Ford Transit van at the staggered crossroads on the B3006.

The accident happened at the junction with Wolfs Lane, the road which leads to Chawton, around 12.15pm.

Hampshire Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information or possible dashcam footage of the incident or the B3006 around the time to get in touch.
