Hampshire County Council is getting some Whitehill pot holes fixed after a reader reported them to the paper.
David Pennell, of Whitehill, sent in this picture of Forest Road near Wellington Avenue, which was repaired after work by Openreach.
A council spokesperson said: “Utility companies must return road surfaces to a serviceable condition following any works to install or maintain their equipment. We have powers to ensure any repairs are completed to an appropriate national standard whether a temporary fix, or when a site is permanently reinstated.
“Our highways team will be contacting the utility company with clear instructions to repair the road surface to the required standard.”
