A man has been jailed for nearly three years after assaulting 10 police officers during two separate incidents.
Jamie Drablow, 26, of Wiltshire Road, Wokingham, kicked, punched, bit and spat at officers while being detained.
Winchester Crown Court heard officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle and found Drablow asleep in a VW Golf on The Key, Fleet, during the early hours of Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Drablow attempted to flee but was quickly detained, during which five officers were kicked or spat at.
The court also heard he had stolen a television, Xbox, alcohol and an internet router from an address on Holt Lane, Hook, on Friday, August 22.
Earlier that year, officers were called to reports of an altercation at The Kara restaurant on Fleet Road on Saturday, May 31. Officers attended and five were assaulted — one was kicked, while another was racially abused, punched and bitten.
Drablow later pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, three counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker, racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress, and common assault of an emergency worker in relation to the May incident.
Drablow was jailed for a total of 34 months at Winchester Crown Court on Friday, February 20.
Hart Inspector Lisa Eastlake said: “No emergency worker should be subjected to violence. It is not, and never will be, part of the job description.
“Our officers are trying to do a job in protecting the communities they serve and keeping people safe in the process. Jamie Drablow’s behaviour was appalling and completely unacceptable.
“The impact on an assaulted officer can be huge and long-lasting, and we will do everything we can to deal with these offences and offenders quickly and robustly.
“I hope this result highlights that this behaviour will not be tolerated in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.”
