Lefter Hasa, 23, of Upperton Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, caused more than £2,500 worth of damage after he slashed 20 tyres outside Aldershot Police Station on November 13 last year.
He was later arrested and charged with criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
Hasa pleaded guilty to the offence and was jailed for three months in relation to the Aldershot offence at Lewes Crown Court on Friday, June 27.
He was jailed for a total of 16 months after he pleaded guilty to offences in East Sussex.
DC Chloe Walker, from Hart and Rushmoor CID, said: “The mindless act of damaging emergency service vehicles is something which is difficult to comprehend and could have a significant impact on the public.
“This offence resulted in the vehicles needing to be taken off the road to be repaired. Thankfully, the vehicles were repaired quickly, and we were still able to respond to emergencies in the district.
“This type of behaviour will not be tolerated, and offenders will be dealt with robustly and put through the courts.”
