Miller's Ark in Hook has reported a "credible sighting" of its missing donkey foal Moon.

It was at the A3016 Upper Hale Road traffic lights at the junction with the A325 Farnborough Road between 3pm and 3.15pm on May 15, the day Moon disappeared.

A member of the public told Miller’s Ark they saw a small ginger donkey in the boot of a dark blue hatchback or small estate car which was then driven off towards the Six Bells Roundabout in Farnham.

A boy aged around ten to 14 was sitting behind the driver's seat and leaning back to the boot to stroke and talk to the donkey.

The likely route taken from Miller’s Ark would have been the A30 on to the A287 past Odiham, then continuing on the A287 Farnham Road and the A287 Odiham Road. At the top of Folly Hill in Farnham the car would have continued on to the A3016 Upper Hale Road, through Upper Hale down to the traffic lights junction with the A325, then onwards towards the Six Bells Roundabout.

Miller's Ark said: "This is a plea for anyone who may have been driving in the area at this relevant time and date, businesses and residents to check any dash-cam footage, CCTV or doorbell footage which may extend out on to the road that they may have. The police were called regarding this credible sighting."

Anyone with information should call Hampshire Constabulary on 101 quoting crime number 44230191581.
