The Living Room Cinema off the village square is the vision of local resident Claire Beswick and is in a former car showroom, with a state-of-the-art auditorium in a purpose-built extension.

Last summer the cinema, that aims to show films from Hollywood blockbusters to art house and niche films, advertised front-of-house and marketing roles.

Now an application is with planners for a traditional 6.8m and 1m high cinema sign reading The Living Room Cinema and signs advertising the cinema’s programme and its cafe/bar.

To view the application visit the website at https://www.easthants.gov.uk/planning-application-process/search-and-comment-planning-applications, and look up reference 22101/010.
