Supporters celebrated Cycle Alton’s second birthday with their first-ever meeting in person at Alton Maltings.

The organisers of the evening, Janice Montgomerie, Chris Chappell and Barbara Tansey (seated at front, left) provided wine and cake to thank everyone who has helped Cycle Alton to establish and grow into the near 200-strong group it is today.

A Powerpoint presentation by Chris showed what has been achieved so far, following which there was a discussion on what has been learnt.

Everyone was then invited to consider where best to focus future efforts, and a wide range of suggestions was put forward which were also duly discussed.
