A MOTHER is appealing to anyone who visited Country Market, in Bordon, at the weekend, who may have found her disabled son's iPad.

Becky Harms and her four-year-old son Josh, from Hindhead, were visiting Country Market's car boot sale on Sunday, when his iPad, which he uses as a learning aid, was discovered missing.

She said: "Josh is a four -and- a -half year old little boy who is severely disabled. He can't speak and can't communicate with the outside world.

"He relies on adult support 24 hours a day at all times.

"Josh was wheeled round in his wheelchair and he was given his iPad to hold to try and help him cope with going to a new place.

"My best friend and I searched for nearly an hour and I was in tears, but no one had appeared to hand it in.

"The iPad is on a contract, which will cost in total £650, which is a huge amount of money for myself, a single parent.

"Josh (pictured) relies on this iPad for his learning and since getting it two months ago he has made significant progression in his development.

"I am desperate to get it back and I have contacted the police and the organisers at the car boot but as of yet no luck."

Miss Harms added that she is "praying that some angel out there with a kind heart", has handed it in – or will if they find out about Josh.

She added: "Everyone saw Josh he was the only little boy in a wheelchair.

He also makes moaning noises, squeals and flaps his hands, so people were looking at him.

"I can't believe no one has handed it in, but why would they when it is worth so much money?"

She urged anyone with any information to contact her on 01428 604471.
