A BY-ELECTION will be held in July for the vacant Hangers and Forest Ward on East Hampshire District Council.

Prospective candidates must put their names forward for election by the cut-off date of Wednesday, June 29.

The ward, which includes the villages of Greatham, Liss Forest and Hawkley, was formerly held by Judy Onslow, who died at the end of April.

The election is on Tuesday, July 26.
