A PANEL of inspiring women leaders, including Jenny Campbell from the BBC Dragons’ Den, will be sharing their experience and advice with women wanting to smash through the career glass ceiling, at the launch of a new leadership training programme set up by Professional Training Solutions.
The launch of the Women Leaders’ Academy takes place on June 11 at Foxhills Club and Resort in Ottershaw at 6pm. The Academy aims to tackle the UK shortage of women leaders. It is aimed at employers who wish to develop the skills of their women leaders, small business owners wanting to further their business, and women who aspire to progress in management roles.
“Our Women Leaders’ Academy is a two-year training programme open to women who have worked hard in their careers or who have built a business, and now want to develop their business leadership skills. It culminates in a widely recognised professional management qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management,” said Jackie Denyer, managing director of Farnham-based Professional Training Solutions.
“Our launch event promises to be an amazing evening. Our all-woman panel of speakers are ready to share the benefit of their experience in becoming leaders. The launch is the perfect place to find out more about the Academy and will be an interesting and informative evening for any woman looking at developing her leadership skills.”
Joining keynote speaker Jenny Campbell will be Louise Punter (chief executive of Surrey Chambers of Commerce), Suzanne Rankin (chief executive of Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust), Leanne Davies (founder of Run Mummy Run) and Claire Vyvyan (senior vice-president at Dell EMC).
Tickets for the launch event cost £25. To book, visit protrain-solutions.co.uk.
