A CONFISCATION order related to an Alton drugs case has helped Hampshire Constabulary to seize £3.3m in cash and assets in the past 12 months, almost doubling the amount claimed back the previous year.

The amount marks the force's most successful year since powers to seize cash and assets came into law in 2003.
