East Hampshire's motorists will have 11 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A3, from 8pm December 7 to 6am December 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Liss to Berelands, Lane closures for maintenance work.

• A27, from 9pm December 5 2025 to 6am January 9 2026, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 westbound, Langstone to Harts Farm Way, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

• A27, from 8pm March 17 2025 to 6am January 12 2026, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27/A27/A3 both directions, junction 9 to junction 11, carriageway, slip road and lane closures for Hampshire County Council major works.

And a further eight closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A27, from 8pm December 8 to 6am December 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands to A3M, junction 2, carriageway closure for horticulture works.

• A3, from 8pm December 9 to 6am December 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hazel Grove to Liphook, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• A3, from 8.30pm December 11 to 6am December 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Horndean to Weston, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• A3, from 9pm December 12 to 6am December 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Liphook to Thursley, diversion route for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm December 15 to 6am December 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance, diversion via Highways England network.

• A3, from 8pm December 15 to 6am December 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands, slip road and lane closures for Scottish and Southern Power.

• A3, from 8pm December 18 to 6am December 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Ham Barn to Berelands, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A3, from 10.30pm December 19 to 6am December 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Chalton, slip road closure for maintenance work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
