CAMELSDALE Primary School celebrated Trafalgar Day by holding a school assembly.

The children learnt about the Battle of Trafalgar, HMS Victory in Portsmouth, Nelson’s Column in London and how Horatio Nelson was a good leader.

Headteacher Sarah Palmer said: "It is important our children learn about and know some of the country’s most famous events in history."
