Purple was the colour at St Mary’s Bentworth Primary School as pupils and staff showed their support for Epilepsy Action.

Some of the pupils who have epilepsy led a whole school collective worship about their journey with epilepsy and what it means for them.

The pupils also answered questions from their friends.

The school managed to raise more than £100 for Epilepsy Action.

St Mary’s Bentworth Primary School minibus driver Tony Dunsdon decided to walk 200 miles to raise money for the school.

The school is currently raising money to refurbish its music room, and all the money Tony has raised will go towards this.

He has been out in all weathers – sun, rain and snow – making sure he got his daily miles to achieve his target.

Tony made it to his 200-mile target four days earlier than planned.

Anyone who would like to sponsor Tony and donate towards the school’s music room refurbishment can make an online donation by visiting https://app.classlist.com/events/#/events/view/962000918
