EGGAR’S School in Alton was alive with the sound of music when it held its second family-friendly music festival.
Alton Live, on July 9, ran from early afternoon until late and featured district bands and talent.
In addition to the music, visitors could take in the Mill Farm Cottage Experience, have fun with Splat the Rat and Feed the Clown, or take turns in the stocks.
As always, there was plenty of food and drink, including a bar and a barbecue, plus the popular tuck sales.
But it was the music that everyone came to hear and they weren’t disappointed with a variety of bands and performers, many playing their own compositions.
The music festival began with Eggars student band Noyka, followed by year 11 student Holly Dowds, an acoustic set by CM Arnold, X Factor contestant Joe Waller, Rustic Bus Stop and Bemis, with Nyoka returning to round off the evening with some rousing numbers.
