PARLIAMENTARY candidates for the three main political parties were put through their paces during a hustings meeting that attracted hundreds of people to the Alton Maltings Centre on Tuesday evening.

Under the spotlight were Jane Edbrooke (Labour), Adam Carew (Liberal Democrat) and Damian Hinds (Conservative).
