THE HEADLINE acts have been announced for the 2022 Haslemere Fringe Festival.

‘Kitchen Disco’ queen Sophie Ellis-Bextor, iconic rock/pop band The Feeling, and Britpop favourites Sleeper will all headline the Haslemere Fringe.

During the height of lockdown in 2020, Sophie entertained families across the country with her ‘Kitchen Disco’ hour of hits.

The three-day family-friendly fringe festival, which has more than 30 live bands, emerging new talent, dance acts, comedy, poetry, children’s entertainment and more, is set to launch at Haslemere’s Christmas Market on Sunday, December 5.

The sixth fringe festival will run from Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July

3 on Lion Green, just off Wey Hill in the heart of Haslemere.

Early-bird tickets will be available from December 5.

The biennial event, organised by members of the community, attracts thousands of visitors.

The partner charity for the 2022 fringe will be Phyllis Tuckwell

Hospice Care, a charity which provides a range of free services

to help adults living with an advanced or terminal illness make the most of their lives.
