South coast singer-songwriter Alexander Kriche is appearing in the Cellar Bar at the Farnham Maltings on September 4 at 8pm.

Known for his distinctive blend of jazz, soul and funk, Alex's performances combine expressive songwriting with accomplished musicianship.

As a pianist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, he has performed internationally across Canada, Australia and the USA, including at the Birdland Jazz Club in Manhattan.

Working as a television and film composer over the last few years for independent and major record labels, Alex has now decided to again focus on songwriting and performing.

Performing with his trio, Alex will present songs from his original repertoire alongside reimagined classics by artists including David Bowie, Sting and George Michael, arranged in his own distinctive style.
