Mr Hinds, where were you? On Saturday morning in Alton there were crowds of people in Alton’s Public Gardens sending you messages on climate change.

Lots of little children were heard as well as their mothers, pleading with you and your government that not enough is being done and not quickly enough to avoid an imminent catastrophe.

You are our Member of Parliament. When will you listen to our children?

Not again

On the day before Remembrance Sunday, my husband spent half an hour clearing steps leading down to Alton High Street, picking up broken bottles, the usual fast-food packages and drink cans.

I have to say most of this rubbish has been there nearly a week. Where are the street cleaners?

Most importantly, what is wrong with these filthy people who cannot be bothered to find a bin?
