PLANS to improve cycling and walking facilities between Alton town centre and the railway station will be aired at a public exhibition next week.

Run by Hampshire County Council, next Friday’s exhibition will be set up in two locations – at Alton Infant School, on Normandy Street, from 4pm-6pm and Alton Assembly Rooms from 6pm-8pm.

The plans will then be on display at the town hall, on Market Square, until January 29 and people are asked to comment by February 12, by e-mailing [email protected].
