Tickets are selling fast for Farnham’s Gin and Fizz Festival on September 2.  

Event organiser Farnham Town Council has secured some of the best brands of local, national and international craft gin plus a range of Champagne and sparkling wine for people to try and buy. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages for those keen to explore this sector of the drinks market. 

Cllr Kika Mirylees, lead member for the community, said: “We are really excited to be serving up this experience for people who appreciate discovering new and exciting brands. Industry experts will share their knowledge, demonstrate new recipes and reveal the latest trends.  

“As no party is complete without music, we are delighted to have booked Young Elton to provide the music. He is billed as the ‘world’s finest Elton John tribute’ and will certainly get everybody in the party spirit!” 

The venue is The Kiln in Badshot Lea. This historic building offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space for street food vendors and the festival’s programme of demonstrations, talks and question and answer sessions from wine, gin and cocktail specialists.  

Tickets can be booked for the afternoon session (midday to 4pm) or the evening session (6pm to 10pm) via Farnham Town Council at www.farnham.gov.uk The cost is £13.50 per person plus a booking fee and includes a souvenir glass. The event is for over-18s only.
