Annual textile show Thread is heading to Farnham Maltings for the tenth time on June 11 from 9am to 5pm.

A vibrant curated marketplace of more than 50 independent textile businesses will be selling artisan fabrics, haberdashery and their own fantastic creations.

They will include local favourites Pins and Needles of Grayshott and Thimble and Thrift of Ewhurst, plus those from further afield including Fabrics Galore, Dovetailed London Ltd, Purple Stitches and The Maker’s Atelier.

Exhibition Alchemy of Blue – a collaboration between rug weaver Jacqueline James, and artist and textile print designer Amélie Crépy – will be in the Long Kiln Room.

There will also be talks and workshops. For tickets, priced £8 (under-18s free) call 01252 745444 or visit the website at farnhammaltings.com
